Literary Puns and Cakes…What’s Not to Love?

What’s better than a good book? A good book you can eat! Snacks and creativity are highly prized at bepress, so an Edible Book Party is our idea of a good time. This delicious tradition bloomed (yeasty joke) at bepress last year when Michelle Barron-Lutzross and her team in Consulting Services challenged fellow bepressers to bring their best book-themed baking skills to the office.

We were especially inspired by all your great repository collections of Edible Book Festivals, including the festivities at Ursinus College, Octavofest at Cleveland State University, The Cupola at Gettysburg College, and in The Keep at Eastern Illinois University.

The following winning entries were chosen, then eaten:

Best pun or other wordplay: And Then There Were None (Kelly G.)
Most appetizing: Little House in the Big Black Forest (Michelle)
Best visual presentation: Bee Season (Morgan)
