Western University Redesigns IR, Highlighting Ability to Meet Funder Mandates

When Western University wanted to modernize its look and trumpet its ability to help faculty satisfy new funding mandates, a free IR redesign was the perfect solution. Their new intro text clearly states that publication in Scholarship@Western satisfies the requirements of several research funding bodies, making the campus repository part of best practices for publishing grant-funded research and data. Tom Adam, Copyright Librarian at Western University, explained that “Researchers receiving public funding are not always sure about meeting granting requirements [recently mandated by the Canadian Tri-Agency] and Western Libraries wanted to be clear that deposit in Scholarship@Western satisfies the conditions at no cost for members of the Western community.”

You can redesign your IR for free every year in addition to free redesigns of journals, conferences, and more. To put a shiny new redesign in place, simply contact your bepress Consultant or support@dc.bepress.com.
