Alex Rolfe, Technical Services Librarian and Systems Administrator at George Fox University, recently created a report sharing the growth of their repository in its first three years. The report summarizes the type of content in Digital Commons @ George Fox University, and the number of uploads and downloads each year. It also highlights that the repository has enjoyed steady growth in downloads, almost double the number of downloads each year as the previous year, and discusses a difference in readership each year: early readers were local, and now there are readers from all over the world.
The report received campus-wide attention after university president Robin Baker shared highlights from the report in their monthly newsletter. In the newsletter, The Bridge, President Baker specifically draws attention to the worldwide distribution of readership, which includes downloads from every country in the world.
