Pacific Opens Up: An OER Case Study at University of the Pacific

As the price of both tuition and textbooks rises dramatically many campuses are launching open educational resource (OER) initiatives and encouraging OER adoption. Michele Gibney, Digital Repository Coordinator at the University of the Pacific looks at starting and growing an OER program at UoP, now in its second year.

Michele shares some specific workflows and resources, and provides best practices for those interested in working with their own faculty on OER. Attendees will come away with ideas about how to implement an OER initiative at their institutions.

Michele’s slides can be found here.
